Our Mission is: To preserve and teach traditional African dance, enhance all Art forms: while collaborating with other organizations to sustain our community through research, education and empowerment with the Arts as a catalyst.
Our Vision is: To provide positive opportunities for youth and under-served populations through the Arts to overcome challenges.
PEACE! LOVE! RESPECT! FOR EVERYBODY!
We use dance and music to bring awareness to the inequities in our community and through our ART, create a positive change. Striving to make a positive change and create a safe space where we can learn to embrace and celebrate our differences.
MOVING ONWARD !!
Together we have made it through a Pandemic and been able to perform and dance for you. We are looking forward to KWANZAAFEST 2023! We will be having a Kwanzaafest in Raleigh as well as our Annual KWANZAAFEST on Jan.1, where we will also celebrate the memory and birthdate of the one and only – Dr. Charles “Chuck” Davis. We look forward to seeing you there!

We dance for peace, we dance for strength. School performances, Board Trainings, Culture Festivals, and many more is where we can enhance community through the Arts.

Our youth is our future
Teaching our children Peace, Love, Respect, today, for Everybody, is creating a better world through the Arts.

Dancers for peace
AADE is committed to OUTREACH, focusing on the well-being and a positive future of OUR Youth. We continue the Legacy of Dr. Chuck Davis in preserving, teaching and performing traditional African Dance Music and Values.
We present dance and music from West African Region as well as Congolese Drumming.
